In summer 2014 when Kristy Acevedo first started the Twitter monthly writing challenge, I knew right away it could be a huge help to writers from all walks of life. I quickly offered to build a website to serve as a central hub for the monthly writing challenge community in hopes of us being able to keep it going from month-to-month.
While I built and continue to maintain this site on a volunteer basis, the domain name registration and hosting expenses do come out of my pocket. As such, Kristy and I both thought it would make sense to put up a Donate button here on the site in case any of you ever feel like chipping in a dollar or two to help me offset website expenses.
There’s no pressure for anyone to give anything. We’re going to keep on running the monthly challenges and offering you motivation and encouragement—no matter what! But if you do want to help out, any amount would be appreciated.
If you’d prefer, you can also just buy my books. (Available in print and Kindle edition!) That would help, too! 🙂
PLEASE NOTE: When you go to the donation page, it will show Seaport Publishing at the top of the page and my e-mail address below the payment area. Your PayPal statement will show that the payment has been made to Seaport. I just want you to know that it is me and your donations will go directly towards website maintenance expenses. Thank you in advance!
