If you’re reading this post, you most likely know what WritingChallenge.org is all about. If not, you can learn about it here.
After the Writing Challenge founder, Kristy Acevedo, and #SeptWritingChallenge leader and romance novelist Samantha Garman appeared with me on A Writer’s Journey podcast, the three of us decided we should start a podcast especially for the Twitter Monthly Writing Challenge community.
So here we are. In spite of a couple of minor audio issues, we hope you will enjoy this first podcast. (Scroll to the bottom of this post to stream or download.)
Highlights from the show —
Kristy mentioned this tweet about a questionnaire for character interviews:

I mentioned a favorite book from which I have gleaned a ton of great ideas for novel-planning:
Samantha mentioned this blog, which features several articles about platform building for writers:
A couple of us writing challengers posted about beginnings and endings:
When to Use a Prologue by Sara Whitford
— Heather Jackson (@HeatherJacksonW) September 9, 2014
Towards the end of the episode, I asked Sam about her experience with blog tours. She mentioned her experiences and referenced a post on her blog, which you can find here:
Blog Tours — and why I’ll never do one again by Samantha Garman
And last, but certainly not least, Sam, Kristy and I would like to extend a huge thank you on behalf of the entire WritingChallenge.org community, to K.D. Armatrading for being the most encouraging participant in our community. K.D. has even been called our Official Writing Challenge Head Cheerleader! Be sure and stay plugged in for the #OctWritingChallenge, when K.D. will take the reins from Samantha Garman.
